In honor of Black History Month, Otis Laboratory Press created a limited-edition set of six 11x17 letterpress posters to celebrate Black music artists of yesteryear and today. The selected artists and music not only impacted and influenced the music industry, but also continually impact and influence many of our lives. This poster set is a thank you to these artists for paving the way and speaking truths through sound and lyrics.

Each poster is individually designed and printed by the artists and staff of Otis Laboratory Press including: Jennifer Graves (“King of Rock” by Run DMC); Leslie Ross-Robertson (“Feeling Good” by Nina Simone); Jamie Russom (“Mothership Connection” by George Clinton/Parliament); Janet Kupchick (“Freedom” by Richie Havens); Rachel Curry (“The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” by Gill Scott-Heron); Joshue Molina (“Alright” by Kendrick Lamar).

To maintain the integrity of the posters, the set ships in a flat, rigid mailer. Proceeds from the sale of this limited-edition series go to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives at Otis College of Art and Design.
